In reply to Will Henderson. I will try and find out what is happening. UPDATE And have. It seems you are right, the communication hasn't improved that much! The good news is that the signs are wrong. I'm told the new, 10 June, date refers to the project as a whole rather than just the Eccles Road element which should still be finished within the next month.

Thames Water have just put the completion date back by nearly 2 months according to a sign on the works. Doesnt seem like their communication skills are improving…

You can find a lot of video on YouTube showing the noise that residents needed to cope with.
It would be good if you can post some on this post to illustrate the burden.
