While people have the right to raise money for deserving causes, ordinary people (many of who are on low incomes) should not be abused if they don’t want to set up a direct debit. I’ve seen this on a number of occasions.

It’s also quite obnoxious how the Professional Fundraising Regulatory Association smear anyone who criticse street fundraising as “bitter”. Very unprofessional.
