I’m not finding excuses for Tooting’s MP (I don’t care) but there is another explanation: he might have asked the Council repeatedly to work with the police in Tooting (or even mentioned it previously in his literature) and as there is a new team in Tooting, he’s taking part of the credit…

BTW, I will notice with interest the reaction of the Conservative party after the decision on the twin tower proposal in CJ station, as the Conservative spokesperson for Battersea refused to help on the campaign … at least the consequence should be: no help = no credit… except if it is actually taking credit for a successful approval of course 🙂
