I won’t dispute the incompetence, but it’s hard to use that to explain arguments like keeping children hungry reduces dependence or stops money entering the drugs economy.
Perhaps not evil (although the point was more that’s the sentiment of my Twitter feed) but definitely unfeeling, and there is a correlation between empathy and competence.
Fair point. (Wasn’t defending the Conservatives btw, not least because I finally quit in high dudgeon over how bad a PM Johnson is turning out to be, and how how much damage has been caused by the response to the virus.)
I left (well, drifted away) well before Johnson because I didn’t like the way they were going locally or nationally: then going this far was beyond my imagination though.
Yes & lots of people in the party felt the same, but others like me didn’t listen (Gove was right in 2016 to say he wasn’t fit). I never bought into the Johnson cult but voted for him as I thought he could see off Corbyn & deliver a sensible Brexit & wouldn’t be that bad a PM.
Hmm, if only they were. We’re in this mess because of Johnson’s incompetence and trying too hard to be pro-NHS!

Sure, just don’t think “evil & unfeeling” explains very much of what they are doing.

Yeah, soz about that it’s a tsunami atm
At least we have 3 November.
To distract us, what fun!
To give us hope.
Hope… Trump is doing everything he can to win, I don’t have much hope in that regard.
